Dhaka Ahsania Mission is a non-government development organization founded by Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah, an eminent educationist, reformer and Sufi. The founding motto of DAM is ‘Divine and humanitarian service’. It functions since 1958 pursuing the  aims of social and spiritual development of entire human community.

President

Prof. Dr. Golam Rahman

Prof. Dr. Golam Rahman had been Founder Vice Chancellor (1 August 1991 – 22 August 1993) of the University of Khulna, Khulna and United International University (UIU), Dhaka. At present he is the Honorary Advisor of UIU. 

He had previously been Ex-Dean, Faculty of Architecture & Planning, and Ex-Head, Department of Urban & Regional Planning of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Dhaka. He is the Founder President of Bangladesh Institute of Planners (BIP). He had been the Ex-Vice President of Commonwealth Association of Planners (South-West Asia).

Completing BA (Hon’s) & MA in Geography from University of Dhaka, he had Post-graduated at Town & Regional Planning from The University of Sheffield, UK, and pursued MCRP in City & Regional Planning from The University of Oklahoma, USA. He had completed his Ph.D. in Rural Planning from Jahangirnagar University, Dhaka.

Prof. Dr. Abu Tyeb Abu Ahmed

Prof. Dr. Abu Tweb Abu Ahmed is a distinguished academic and scientist from Bangladesh. He completed his BSc (Honours) and MSc in Zoology and became a faculty member in the Department of Zoology at the University of Dhaka, where he taught for about 50 years. He rose through the ranks from Assistant Professor to Professor, and also served as Chairman of the Department.

His research spans fisheries zoology, aquaculture, biodiversity, environmental pollution, and malacology (the study of molluscs). He has authored over 200 scientific papers, books, booklets, and technical reports on these subjects

Al-Haj Dr. S. M. Khalilur Rahman

He has served as General Secretary of Dhaka Ahsania Mission, a key leadership position within the organisation.
He is also listed as a Member of the Board of Trustees for Khulna Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah University and Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST), universities established by Dhaka Ahsania Mission.
In the governance of Ahsania Mission Cancer & General Hospital (a major tertiary care hospital in northern Dhaka supported by DAM), Dr. Khalilur Rahman is noted as a Lifetime Member & Vice President of Dhaka Ahsania Mission and a member of the hospital’s governing body

Wahidur Rahman Khan

Wahidur Rahman Khan is a senior academic leader at AIICT with multiple roles at the institute. He serves as the Acting Principal of AIICT. He was also an Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Business Administration at the institute.

In these capacities, Wahidur Rahman Khan is responsible for academic leadership, coordination of departmental activities, and helping guide both faculty and students in business and engineering education at AIICT.

As Acting Principal, he plays a key part in overseeing the overall administrative and academic functioning of the institute, ensuring programs align with its mission to spread quality information technology and business education — part of Dhaka Ahsania Mission’s broader goals in education and human development.

The National University of Bangladesh (legally: National University) is a public collegiate university of Bangladesh that was established in 1992 by an Act of Parliament as an affiliating university of the country to impart graduate and post-graduate level education to the students through its affiliated colleges, schools and professional institutions throughout the country. It is the third largest university in the world according to enrollment. The headquarters is in Gazipur, on the outskirts of Dhaka. After its establishment it affiliated association degree awarding colleges, where many of them were previously affiliated by the University of Dhaka, University of Rajshahi and University of Chittagong.
